First Lutheran Church was the recipient recently of a very generous gift from the estate trust of one of our members. Charlotte “Lottie” Swanson was a faithful member of our congregation for many years before she passed away in 1983. Her undesignated gift to First Lutheran of over $230,000 is now in our hands sitting in a restricted account until we decide how the money should be used. A survey was sent to members and friends of the church and results have been summarized.
