The sacrament of Holy Baptism is celebrated at First Lutheran for people of all ages. On your baptism day, you are adopted into God’s family and become a member of our congregation. One of our pastors will meet with the baptismal candidate, or their parents, to prepare for the occasion. To schedule a baptism, please contact the church office at (309) 944-3196.

Visitations and funerals are held at First Lutheran for congregation members and their relatives. Please contact the church office at (309) 944-3196 and speak to one of the Pastors to make arrangements for a celebration of life.
To reserve the Fellowship Room or any of the various meeting and Conference Rooms at the church, please first confirm that your date and/or time is available by reviewing the master calendar on our Events page. If available, complete the Building Usage Form [pdf] which includes additional information, guidelines and rental fees. Please email your completed form or return it to the church office.
