The Mission Endowment Committee is pleased to welcome Pastor Frank Langholf on the weekend of September 19 & 20. Pastor Frank will be our guest preacher as part of our campaign “Celebrating a Proud Past, Preparing for a Faithful Future.”

Pastor Frank served First Lutheran Church as Associate Pastor from 1993-1996.

With the upcoming harvest season, First Lutheran will be praying for a bountiful harvest and for the safety of all farmers. Farmers are invited to bring a symbol of their harvest to be blessed during the worship services on the weekend of September 26 &27.

The Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry is collecting: Snack Pack pudding, breakfast bars, pop tarts, mini bags of chips, grab-and-go cereal, toilet paper, deodorant, Lysol wipes, Kleenex and children’s cold medicine to share with those in our community. Donations may be left in the basket by the church office.

In addition, the clothing room is especially in need of: jackets & fall clothing, boys clothing all sizes, bath towels and sheets.
