PALM SUNDAY SERVICES, MARCH 28 & 29
* Saturday, March 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary
* Sunday, March 29 at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
* Easter Egg Hunt following worship March 29. All children are invited to join us. Meet in the Fellowship Room.
MAUNDY THURSDAY, APRIL 2
* Service at 6 p.m. We gather with those receiving their Communion Milestone. Worship begins with a family meal for the entire congregation in the Fellowship Room.
After we eat, share conversation and hear the Word, we process to the Sanctuary for Holy Communion. As worship concludes, we strip the altar in preparation for Good Friday.
Menu: chicken or ham balls, cheesy potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls and dessert.
GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 3
* Service at 7 p.m. “The Seven Last Words of Jesus”
* We gather to hear the passion story with the final words our Savior spoke. Service includes special music and a time for reverencing the cross.
EASTER VIGIL, APRIL 4
* Service at 7 p.m. This is the night of salvation!
* The Vigil of Easter begins as we gather around a new fire and light the paschal candle.
* We hear the story of salvation from the Old Testament and the story of Jesus’ resurrection from John’s Gospel. We celebrate with great joy the first Eucharist of Easter.
EASTER SUNDAY, APRIL 5
* Services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Livestream at both services.
* We eat and drink at the table of the risen Christ.
* Both services will include a special children’s Easter message. Glory Ringers Handbell Choir at 8:30 a.m. Sanctuary Singers and brass at 10:30 a.m.
* Fellowship featuring cinnamon rolls and fruit 9:30-10:30 a.m.
