First Lutheran offers three distinct worship experiences each weekend:
Saturday 5:30 p.m. Informal Worship in Fellowship Room--
A simple worship experience with spoken word and piano music. Communion is offered weekly.
Sunday 8:30 a.m. Traditional Worship--
A formal worship experience with liturgy and music of the Lutheran tradition. Communion is offered weekly.
Sunday 10:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship & Children's Church--
An upbeat worship experience with contemporary Christian music led by praise teams. Communion is offered weekly. Children ages 3 through grade 2 attend Children's Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Our weekly messages are designed to help you better understand the Bible and God's words for today's world. We welcome all who believe to recieve Holy Communion. Children and those who have not yet received Communion instruction are invited to receive a blessing.
Children are welcome! Children are welcome in worship at First, where a special children’s message is presented every week to help our youngest worshippers understand and live God's words for them. While all children are always welcome, a staffed nursery is provided on Sundays for small children who find it difficult to sit for long periods of time and whose parents desire childcare during worship.
First is handicapped-accessible and we welcome people of all abilities at every worship service and ministry event.
Baptisms are celebrated at First for persons of all ages. To schedule a baptism please contact the Pastor or the church office.
Weddings at First are a joyous occasion! To schedule a wedding or inquire about wedding policies and procedures please contact the church office.
